Ingredients of our product
Kokum Butter: Particularly moisturising. Quickly absorbed by the skin, non-greasy and leaves your skin feeling nourished and comfortable.
Babassu Oil: Absorbs wonderfully easy into the skin and leaves it supple and soft.
Camellia Oil: Contains vitamins A, B and E as well as various minerals. It is also rich in squalane and has moisturising properties.
Fun Fact: In Japan, camellia oil has been a beauty secret among geishas for centuries.
Myrica Fruit Wax: Provides a rich but velvety skin feel.
Cannabis Sativa Leaf Extract: Thanks to its highly antioxidant properties, it protects the skin from free radicals. It is also moisturizing, conditions the skin and helps regulate the skin's sebum production.
Grape seed oil: due to its high linoleic acid content (higher than most other carrier oils), the oil is very moisturizing and is well suited for skin care.
Fun Fact: Grape seed oil is a by-product of the wine and juice industry. The pulp of the by-product is taken out and the seeds are further processed to extract the oil from it. The ingenious thing about it: no waste products are produced!
Olive Squalane: Is a natural, skin-own moisture preserver and is particularly well absorbed. It provides soft skin without a greasy film, but still with a glow effect.
Hemp Seed Oil: Counts among the absolute "super oils"! Filled with essential nutrients, hemp seed oil is the most natural and richest source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. As the special fatty acid pattern of hemp seed oil is very similar to that of our skin, it can be absorbed very quickly and provide excellent conditioning to keep the skin soft and supple.
Strawberry Seed Oil: Contains vitamin E and omega-3 and -9 fatty acids. Also packed with ellagic acid, which provides an even and clear skin tone.
Fun Fact! Did you know that strawberry seed oil is a true zero-waste oil?! Tons of strawberry seeds are thrown away by the jam industry every year and only recently have a few select suppliers started buying the waste and extracting the valuable strawberry oil. Good for the skin, great for the environment!!!
Raspberry Seed Oil: Rich in vitamins A and E as well as linoleic acid - which is easily absorbed by the skin without clogging the pores.
Did you know that linoleic acid is also a component of the "Natural Moisturizing Factor" (NMF) - the skin's natural moisturising system and thus part of the protective mantle of the top layer of skin?
Chia Seed CO2 Extract: The production by extraction with CO2 ensures a high concentration of essential omega-3 and 6 fatty acids as well as vitamin B. It has a light consistency, making the skin soft and silky.
The pleasant fragrance of the balm is provided by the essential oils of neroli and benzoin.
Fun Facts: Benzoin has become famous for the so-called Friar's Balsam. This was applied by Russian ballet dancers to soothe injury to the feet. Internally, it was often used in steam inhalation by opera singers against loss of voice.
Neroli: Extracted from the bitter orange blossom, neroli oil is said to have received its name, according to legend, from the Sicilian princess Nerola, who was extremely fond of this fragrance.
AHA-rich hibiscus flowers can not only help to remove dead skin cells - for the ultimative “Glow-Effect”, but also give the balm a pink hue.
