CBD oil is obtained from an extract of hemp flowers and leaves with a high content of cannabidiol and may contain other cannabinoids and useful plant compounds such as terpenes and flavonoids.
Cannabidiol is one of over 104 plant compounds (cannabinoids) found in hemp and is used to enhance general well-being. Just a few drops of CBD oil can contribute to more relaxation and balance in everyday life.
The precious oil contains many essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that are extracted from the hemp plant. For this reason, hemp blossom extracts and hemp seed oil can also be ideally used for cosmetics.
Our own brand HERBLIZ offers high-quality CBD oils from gentle CO2 extraction for the preservation of all important cannabinoids as well as the sensitive terpenes and flavonoids (responsible for the aroma of the hemp plants and the antioxidant effect). All our hemp plants are organically grown and free from pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilizers. More information about our environmentally friendly production process and our laboratory certificates can be found on our page dedicated to quality.
For the production of our CBD oil, only industrial hemp plants are used in accordance with the applicable EU guidelines. These useful hemp plants contain more than 20% cannabidiol and less than 0.3% THC. In contrast to industrial hemp, the marijuana plants that are illegal in Germany contain less cannabidiol and more than 20% THC, making them less suitable for the production of CBD oil.
Because we believe that nature provides the best recipe, all our different flavours are made from natural ingredients and are produced without the addition of synthetic substances. We only use organic carrier oils like olive oil, pumpkin seed oil, MCT coconut oil or milk thistle oil.
At HERBLIZ you will find a wide range of our CBD full spectrum oils and CBD isolates. All our CBD oils are laboratory-tested and have certificates which can be found in each of our product descriptions.
All our HERBLIZ CBD oils and CBD mouth sprays can be ordered easily and comfortably from home. Browse through our online store and dive into the fascinating world of our CBD oils from our own production. Here you will find details about the application and all ingredients listed, because transparency is important to us and we are proud to offer you certified and lab-tested CBD oils with the purest carrier oils, such as organic hemp seed oil or cold-pressed organic milk thistle oil.
Pamper yourself with our HERBLIZ CBD oils and use the power of nature for your own well-being and to add more balance to your everyday life. After we have received your order at HERBLIZ, the delivery for orders from Germany takes about three days. From an order value of € 50, the shipping is free of charge in Germany. From € 150, the shipping is free in Europe. The delivery times and shipping costs for orders from other European countries can be found on our "Shipping & Delivery" page.
At HERBLIZ you will find a wide range of CBD products for more balance and relaxation in your everyday life. Beside our CBD oils, we also offer a CBD wellness line with bath products like CBD bath salts or CBD bath bombs. Our CBD oils are available in four different strengths and five different aromas: HERBLIZ Classic Full Spectrum CBD Oil, HERBLIZ Sativa CBD Oil (isolate), HERBLIZ Olive Fresh CBD Oil (full spectrum), HERBLIZ Autumn Blend CBD Oil (full spectrum) and HERBLIZ Cold Pressed CBD Oil (broad spectrum).
HERBLIZ offers 4 different strengths of CBD oil: 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. These percentages can be confusing at first. Basically, it can be said that a high percentage is not decisive for the quality of CBD oil. Rather, it depends on the extraction method (ideally: gentle CO2 extraction) as well as on the quality and cultivation of the hemp plants.
The percentage number indicates the CBD content of the oil. However, this is not necessarily decisive for the effect of CBD. For example, a higher number of drops of a 5% CBD oil can have a stronger effect than using fewer drops of a 10% oil. Because every organism reacts differently to the active substance cannabidiol, it is difficult to generalize the dosage for all people.
To calculate the exact amount of CBD consumed (in mg), the following table can serve as a guideline:
1 drop of oil contain CBD in mg
At HERBLIZ you can buy CBD oils in three different varieties: CBD isolate, broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD oil. CBD Isolate is made from carefully distilled hemp flower extract and contains no other natural active ingredients of the plant (such as terpenes, flavonoids and THC). It is CBD in its purest and cleanest form and contains up to 99.9% cannabidiol.
Unlike isolates, our HERBLIZ full spectrum CBD oil contains complete profiles of terpenes and flavonoids as well as natural cannabinoids such as CBD, CBC, CBCa, CBG, THC and THCa. It also contains only the legal amount of less than 0.2% of THC and therefore does not make you "high".
A broad spectrum CBD oil is a mixture of both, isolate and full spectrum. A broad spectrum product contains CBD, terpenes and other ingredients. As with the CBD isolate, however, in most cases no traces of THC can be found. It is therefore particularly suitable for people who are suspicious of cannabinoids or for people with regular drug screenings, just like the isolate. An 'entourage effect' is not to be expected with broad spectrum oils.
If you use a full spectrum CBD oil, you will not only get the perfect dose of all important hemp ingredients, but you can also benefit from the so-called "entourage effect". According to a study by Dr. Ethan Russo, published in the British Journal of Pharmacology in 2011, the effect of several cannabinoids and terpenes together may be stronger than the effects of a pure CBD isolate because it is based on the unique natural interaction within the plant.
Terpenes are believed to play a significant role in this entourage effect. You can read more about this topic in our magazine article CBD full spectrum vs. broad spectrum vs. CBD isolate.
There are many different ways to consume CBD. At HERBLIZ you can find five varieties of our HERBLIZ CBD oils as well as CBD Mouth Sprays in the varieties Sativa (CBD Isolate) and Olive Fresh (CBD Full Spectrum). The application is especially easy and uncomplicated.
CBD oil is most effective when drizzled directly under the tongue. Leave the oil there for about 30-60 seconds and then swallow it. Avoid swallowing CBD oil immediately as it takes much longer for it to pass through your bloodstream. The effect should be felt after 15-20 minutes.
With the pipette of our CBD oils or the pump dispenser of our CBD mouth sprays, you can dose the CBD oil very easily and precisely. The dosage is different for each person and depends on individual needs, symptoms and weight. For beginners, we recommend starting with 5% CBD oil and using 4 to 6 drops in the morning and 4 to 6 drops in the evening.
In general it is recommended to start with a low dose that can be increased slowly. You can do this either by increasing the number of CBD oil drops you consume or by increasing the CBD oil concentration. For example, choose 10% instead of 5% oil.
Although you cannot overdose on CBD, the general range of CBD that you can safely consume is 10-300 mg per day, depending on your weight and the desired effect. For a deeper insight into this topic, we recommend our blog article "How to find the right dosage of CBD".
Because CBD is very light sensitive, you should make sure to buy CBD oil only in a dark, opaque package. It is also important to store the oil in a dark, cool place. CBD oil can have a shelf life of up to two years if properly stored.
CBD oil is known for its versatile applications and has the following advantages, among others:
Many customers swear by CBD oil as a natural way to reduce stress. The high demands of everyday life can make us feel drained and powerless. CBD can help us to go through the day more balanced and relaxed and to live more in the here and now. At work, CBD oil can additionally increase concentration and provide a clear focus.
If you have difficulties falling asleep in the evening after a long day, CBD can provide an effective, safe way to complement conventional sleeping remidies. Taken about half an hour before bedtime, CBD oil helps your muscles and mind to relax more easily. Forget the thoughts of the day, the to-do lists of the week and concentrate on yourself. This calm state alone makes it much easier for many people to fall asleep after taking CBD. It does not matter whether you prefer CBD in the form of capsules, oils or vape cartridges.
CBD is also used in sports to achieve optimal muscle regeneration. Therefore, many competitive athletes rely on this natural oil to prevent sore muscles or simply to relax after training. Furthermore, the power of hemp is also used in the form of CBD bath products, cremes and lotions. Especially popular with our sporty customers is the HERBLIZ Pure CBD Lotion with 300mg of CBD. This lotion provides quick relief for irritated or itchy skin and is absorbed especially fast due to its light texture.
Yoga and meditation can also be optimally combined with CBD products. If you find it difficult to switch off on the yoga mat and concentrate on your center, CBD can be the ideal helper. Cannabidiol brings us into a state of pleasant serenity without triggering a feeling of "highness" as it is the case with THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) for example. This makes it easier for us to find our body center and deepen our meditation during yoga.
Did you know that our body produces its own cannabinoids to support our regulatory system? This so-called endocannabinoid system (ECS) keeps our body in balance and mainly regulates anxiety, appetite, pain symptoms, mood, sleep, memory, immune system functions and inflammation.
Our ECS consists of neurotransmitters and cannabinoid receptors (CB1, CB2, CB3) which are widely distributed throughout the body and can be stimulated or blocked by CBD. Therefore, CBD oil can be seen as a kick starter for our own natural cannabinoids, which can support and balance the receptors in their function. More interesting information about the human ECS and its interaction with CBD can be read in our blog article "What is the endocannabinoid system?”.

Since CBD oil works differently for each individual, the side effects cannot be generalized. CBD can lead to a dry mouth and reduce appetite according to previous studies and online reviews. Some people may experience short-term, temporary nausea or dizziness. No other side effects are known so far.
In general, the use of CBD oils is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as to date there are hardly any studies on the effects and safety of CBD in pregnancy and lactation.
Hemp has been cultivated as a useful plant for more than 10,000 years. The medicinal plant has its origins in Central Asia, where it was used as a staple food in those days. Hemp seeds were even used as a remedy against malaria. In China, hemp was already used for textile production about 5,000 years ago, then in paper production. For a long time, Russia was the main producer of industrial hemp and supplied more than two thirds of the western demand. Today, the legal useful hemp is now spread all over the world, although it can grow best in subtropical climates. Meanwhile, hemp fibers are especially popular for the production of yarns, threads and fabrics and even food, dyes, detergents, teas and much more are produced from it.
Although industrial hemp is full of CBD, it was only discovered in 1940. A group of chemists at the University of Illinois discovered and extracted the active substance cannabidiol for the first time. However, it was initially classified as toxic and was not further considered by science for about 20 years. Only in 1963, the chemist Raphael Mechoulam succeeded at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in determining the chemical composition of CBD.
In 1973, a Brazilian research team was able to prove the reduction of epilepsy symptoms on animals by the use of CBD. A short time later, the anxiety-relieving properties of CBD were discovered, which are still used in therapy for people with anxiety disorders and panic attacks. Further research on CBD for sleep disorders was also conducted. However, since at the same time the interest in the active substance THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) increased significantly, the research on CBD was largely relegated to the background.
With the so-called "Betäubungsmittelgesetz" (narcotics law), cannabis was completely banned in Germany in 1972. However, a distinction is made between cannabis and marijuana. Thus, the ban only applies to cannabis plants that contain more than 0.2% THC. Useful hemp contains less than 0.2% THC and more CBD than marijuana plants, therefore only useful hemp is used for CBD production.
In the late 1980s, the endocannabinoid system was discovered in the human body, which eventually led to further studies on CBD. This was followed by numerous new applications. Especially the medical and antioxidative effects of CBD could now be proven.
Nowadays, the sale and possession of cannabis products is already fully permitted in some parts of the world and even legal for medical purposes. Products that contain only isolated CBD and no traces of THC are therefore freely available and completely legal in most parts of the world.
Nevertheless, there are still unexplored areas and too few CBD studies to end the history of CBD. In the future, we will certainly hear about many more scientific findings on CBD.
In Germany, CBD oil is legal, as in most other European countries. It is produced from industrial hemp and contains only the approved THC content of less than 0.2%. Under the protection of the "Corcuera" law, CBD oil may be sold and consumed in the following countries: Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom.
Our HERBLIZ CBD oils are registered as cosmetic products and not drugs. Therefore, no prescription is needed for the purchase.
On all our products you will find information about the recommended application. More detailed information can be found in our blog.
Isolated cannabidiol (CBD) does not cause any psychoactive effects and therefore does not restrict the ability to drive. In a drug test, the CBD component in the body is not shown, but THC is. Full spectrum oils contain small traces of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), namely the permitted proportion of less than 0.2%. Thus, the percentage and intake quantity of full spectrum oil is decisive. In the case of daily and high-percentage intake exceeding the usual recommended daily dose (10 - 300 mg), CBD isolates, i.e. THC-free products, should always be used in order to prevent a certain residual risk with regard to the endangerment of the driver's license.
CBD is a purely natural product and can be used over a very long period of time, because the body can process it ideally. Many people take it for a lifetime without any side effects.
Cannabidiol can also be absorbed through the airways with a vaporizer. Especially younger consumers or former smokers therefore like to use products like CBD e-liquids or vape cartridges, where CBD is vaporized and inhaled together with an aqueous solution. The active ingredient enters the bloodstream by being absorbed via the respiratory tract and lungs.
An effect occurs within 1-3 minutes after inhalation. The effect loses intensity after about 1 to 3 hours.
At HERBLIZ you can get vape pens with the corresponding CBD oil cartridges, which are available in three different strengths (20%, 40%, 60%) with five different flavours.
CBD can also be used in the form of capsules, tablets or suppositories.
Wellness products such as massage oils, bath balls or creams can also contain CBD and have a relaxing effect.
The high quality CBD oil of our own brand HERBLIZ can be found not only in our online shop, but also directly on site in our HERBLIZ concept stores in Berlin and Hamburg. Here you can test yourself through our CBD assortment and try our organic hemp cosmetics. We are happy to help you to find your new CBD favourites and organize regular yoga events with CBD oil tastings and professional yoga teachers.
